no your not right mate, my car got lifted as the cop had the same view as you, quinn direct allows you to drive any car as long as its motd and taxed

I take this is just quinn direct your referring too then? not insurance in general? my policy covers me too drive any car up to the value of 75k but it has too had a valid insurance poilcy.

i done this with quinn years ago, when i had my fto i put it in the womans name, and because i was fully comp on my vectra i was covered to drive it as long as it was taxed and mot'd. but re taxing the car was fine until quinn started putting the reg on the insured car onto the certifcate, which then prevented anyone from insuring the car. quinn done away with the 3rd part extension at start of year. the woman is still insured with them and they have taken the extension of the policys now to prevent young guys abusing this.

i have the gt taxed nd insured, but i have a type r integra in a friends name, nct'd nd taxed and i can drive it on 3rd party extention.. nd i taxed a bmw a while ago wit my gt's insurance number cos thats the policy i use to drive it...
