Hi people my name is tyron devine im studying motor body vehicle repair at college i tunred 19 yesturday and i currently own a MK1 GT Turbo i bought the car with front end damige needed a new bonnet drivers side wing drivers head lamp and slam panel anyway enough of the chatting here is my ride when i bought her 
The car came with a few Mods to such as
Front mount Autobahn fmic
Full Japspeed stainless steel exhaust system
pipercross induction kit
magnecor leads
pipercross oil breather
braided brake lines
grooved and vented disks
and other bits and bobs so here is how she stood.
So a few weeks after i bought the car she finally arived at college here she is looking all sorry for her self lol
So first of all i stripped the damiged panels off
Also removed the slam panel as it had seen better days lol
Then i welded the new one into place
So i removed my battery today and was shocked to find all this surface rust :|
Before
After a good few hours sanding down it came up a treat.
i then sanded down the crossmember and slam panel and other areas.
And after abit of primer she looked like this.
i also got the bonnet wing and air scoop sanded and in primer to heres a few pics.

The car also came de-wipred had a shitty grommit in there so i removed it and found that the the bolt had seized so got down to work and grindin the bitch off welded a plate behind and the jobs a good one lol.
After a touch of bodyfiller.
So the car had a few little dints nothing major but i want this Gt to be close to perfect when finished so i fixed ever little ding dint i could find lol here is how she looks.
Right enough of the boreing stuff i got the front all in paint today.
