Welcome back man,
Did you get much snow there lol..??
I only arrived back from a month in Florida Tuesday morning, was watching the weather channel over the xmas and new york got battered with snow!!
Florida was cold enough beleive it or not.... shoulda stayed over there though :-(

Cheers mate, had such a good time.
No mate, no snow at all, was a little bit left over from the previous week at the airport and quite places such as central park, but nothing on the roads or streets.
Tbh the weather was great, well as good as it could of been this time of year, had sun 3 of the 5 days was there, but its the wind that gets you, its freezing!!!

Cheers mate, yeah no doubt it is an awesome place, but i saw all the main sights in Manhatten, so not sure if there would be any need to go back...
Me and my mates have been on about doing a trip to the other side of the USA, to California/Vegas or maybe Miami next i would like to do

Ive been to Miami twice and I love it man, We went to see the Dolphins play in the NFL the week before christmas and it was awesome!!
South Beach in Miami is great too... I'd recommend going anyway, I only seen half the place so would love to see the rest of it!
We were over on the Gulf Coast of Florida too... Beaches are great only the water is destroyed from the oil spill lol... I couldnt get to swim

I take it you mean the east coast of Florida mate?! if so there is much to do in Orlando, Cape Canaveral and Miami.
I dont know what there is to do on the west coast but I didnt see much and I drove all around Florida while I was there.
I'l sort out a thread and I'l get some pics up of everything for ya, might give you an idea of what to see and do..!!

@Mark, haha was random, heard some shouting about 10pm out the front of the hotel, 3 dudes fighting in the street lol within about a minute there was 12 police cars there and about 20 officers haha didnt last very long!!

Looks like you had a great time glad you enjoyed it booked it there now for the 20th of Feb so can't wait. Going for 7 days we got the exurtion card thing we got it last year 70 dollars for 5 trips so we have them all picked out. We staying in the Pennsylvania eveything all around us so were told ? Any thing you recommened or to avoid. Cheers

west coast is alot better mate, me an my dad have been numerous times an hired a car in la, an driven all up west coast. went through la up too monterey an carmel, hit up pebble beach an a round of golf on 17 mile drive. further up too sacramento, then too frisco. then headed more inland too tahoe, vegas an them palm springs. so much too do mate an the amount of things we did/saw was amazing.
like when in monterey at the time we went out on a boat an had groups of whales swimmin along side as they wer makin there journey for winter that was amazing too see. frisco was quality plently of clam chowder, an sea lions/seals hundreads of them there at the docks. an there was nuffin better that vegas, live music, magic, an boxing. plus booze an half dressed women. palm springs was more a relaxation with some golf an the mountain cable cars etc. then back too la for disney/universal an a dodgers game.
but seeing them pics brings back so much memories of new york, an makes me really wanna go again. out of curiouisty did you get any funny looks an abuse when at ground zero? as when i went a asian guy was takin pics, an some new yorkers basically told him too fuck off. then our tour guide on the bus said its a very sensitive thing out there.
an at dellybeans, thats the hotel i stayed in, right opposite madison square garden, really nice hotel, dont know if its still there but there was a little fast food place next too it, an they sold the most amazing philly cheesesteaks, you have too get one dude. an bring me one back. its named after a cowboy or an actor that played a cowboy. lush

Yeah was awesome mate, 7 days is quite long time mate, you may have to go abit further if you get me mate, to make the most of your time.
I mean i was there for 5 days, we had that new york pass exurtion thing too, was $80, and i think there was 7 trips in there and we did them all in 5days...
-Empire State Building, daytime.
-Rocafella Centre (top of the rock) must do this at night mate really, so yopu can see empire and chrysler buildings!!!
-Statue of Liberty
-Ellis Island
-Museum of Modern Art
-New York museum
-boat trip of Manhatten
We did all that, aswell as Ground Zero, central park, Macys (biggest shopping store in world) and Bloomingdales (Dont go there unlessyou have alot of money haha)
Not sure where your hotel is, up near Madison square gardens so dan says vvv which is north of pretty much all the sites to see i beleive?
Only other thing i wanted to do is Yankees stadium, but thats not on Manhatten Island i belive, is more north, not far though

yea when i went, they wer still digging it out, an the week i was there they found more human remains, an it looks like there gettin on with the new buildings etc now. miami/florida dont really intrest me seems too me for familys etc. if your going with your mates vegas is a must. an yea yankee stadium has changed since i was there aswell, i saw the origonal one, but they have now changed it too my knowledge an i think its in brooklyn. rough area but only a short distand on the underground. an yea penslvania hotel is about 5 mins walk too times square. 5 mins from empire state, bout 20 mins from central park, an a underground journey from ground zero/staten island ferry etc.
glad you had a good time dude. an at dellybeans lindys i think the resturant in hotel is which did some mean burgers, an roy rodgers is the place that do the ledgendary philli cheese steaks.
