Was looking at a nice GT in Co Longford, livesport spoiler, metal flake paint job, running 1.1 bar of boost on a CT9 hybrid ! the fella who owned it said that this turbo was far better than a TD04 or TD05 becasue it no lag what so ever ! can anyone comfirm this ?

A CT9 Hybrid does have less lag yes but will never produce the power a TD04 or TD05 will. If you want a responsive and reasonably quick car then a Hybrid is good. However making the statement that its far better than those turbos is being abit narrowminded.

All depends on the application really though dosent it.

For a short track, twisty point and shoot layout the CT9 Hybrid would be ideal. For the long stright runs the the bigger the turbo the better for big power.

im on a hybrid at the mo, an i love it. powers always there, only runnin 0.7 bar but wen its setup 1.2 bar shud be swwet. nothing wrong with td04s etc, just too get full potential you need too spend alot more cash. :)

Know the car, surprised he had it out actually, haven't seen it in age's! he had it dyno'd at 1.35bar and was making about 230bhp if I remember right. Also has 6speed box in it.
