not really trying to make the car look fast just playing around with different effects, slowing down and speeding up etc...If it were a professional edit we would have done various things differently such as the mounting of the camera, what was used is actually a full HD Panasonic with the proper mounting equipment not someone pointing their mobile out the back of a car! We werent too bothered about the tax disc or chase car as it is an excercise to generate ideas only.
You guys must understand this is an experiment for feedback so you can withhold your destructive comments and help us with your good constructive feedback please...Nick's car is not ready yet so filming that on track has been a no go, but that is obviously good feedback if Nick were to decide to do a promo video of some kind.
Problem is that these types of vids tend to work better with music, but then picking the right music to use with the required rights etc to use on youtube is always going to be a difficult job.
Here is one I put together as a proper client jobby, which took a month to get right! The above was done as a cheeky afternoon experiment. I think some of you will have seen the below vid possibly..
