no reverse lights??

hat could be the cause of no reverse lights??new bulbs and plug is in the gearbox..any info lads car is in for the test 2mara is there a fuse for reverse lights or does the sensor on the gearbox play up??

is there a fuse ror reverse lights or why wouldnt they be working..checked the bulbs and the plug is on the gearbox.

Reverse lights dnt have seperate fuse,the switch on the gearbox could be faulty or may be bad earth problem.

the earth was off on the box put it on and still no reverse light??would it b the sensor on box??

there is no earth on the plug the lights are earthed off the body at the back...the plug,sensor on the gearbox can go so check that and if its not that its a wiring issue...

cheers lad tried evryting else so must b the plug..

remove the plug, bridge the two connections on it. see if you have some joy from that.. else check the entire stretch of wiring to the bulbs for continuity. it helps to have a multimeter for this..
