right im planning on going to canada, now from what ive read they are really strict on people with criminal records and ive been done b4 for drinking under the influence (DUI) im woundering has anyone had the same problem and still entered canada or been refussed entry?

lol!!!!! oops my bad!! thanks for reply, ya some people are telling me ill b fine and others saying different but the thing about it is that you have your visa and flight payed for and then when you land in canada, immagration could turn you away, i rang the visa crowd dismorning and they gave me the same answer "if its only a small conviction you should be fine" but u have to understand that the visa is non refundable so will they just tell me what i want to hear just to get the money!! am i just being paranoide??

id imagin any part of the u.s would b the same so surly someone has gone and worked in the u.s with a criminal record?

as far as im aware they are more worried about serious issues like murder etc.
they want the right sort of people going into the country

hi jack we are planning on going to calgary in alberta from my understanding the weather there is pretty ok unlike vangouver where it rains more and there seems to be plenty of work! do u go to canada on holidays?

Yer got family in Vancouver, weather was nice when I went but can be rainy and such, need to save up and go back again, I really like it there, like a more toned down america
