oil light need help asap

started new engine up, bit of a problem engine light staying on when idol then when driving it goes off any ideas?stuck on this one

have you checked the wire going to the oil pressure sensor? is it a fresh engine?

have you checked the wire on the oil pressure switch or the switch itself
you should do an oil pressure test aswell just to make sure everything is okay

fresh engine just when stoped oil light is on but then driving it goes theres oil pumping away up in the cam area so dont think its the pump

what so it goes out when you start the engine? or when you start driving? if it goes out when you start the engine and stays out then thats fine
