I'm not expecting a huge amount of good replies, but there are more people on here than on other forums who do appreciate other cars! Even if they are french. (maybe not hondas :haha:)

For those that don't know, its a Renaultsport Clio 182 Trophy. It was a limited edition run at the end of the 182's life of 500 cars featuring SACHS racing spec dampers, recaro seats, speedline turini's and lots of weight shed over the standard 182.
Its performance is fairly good, its about on par 0-60 with a Ct9 @ 1 bar renault quote the trophy as 6.7 seconds so its about right, and I'd say slightly faster than a starlet from 4th gear onwards because of the displacement from 2.0 vs 1.3. A hybrid would beat it in a straight line let alone a td04, but I didnt buy it to be a straight line hero.
As for handling, well I have never been in another car that handles so well, especially a FWD hatchback, saying that it should go well seeing as the SACHS dampers are way over £1.2k each! It just goes round any corners and any speed, loving it so far!

As for the Glanza, I decided a few weeks ago that I just couldnt afford to continue with the 'modding' bug so to speak, it was costing me way too much money.. completely not the cars fault, but because I had no self control over buying un-needed parts!!.
This time I've bought a car that needs little doing to it as standard, so hopefully I wont waste all my years wage on mods! :(
The glanza will be listed up for sale in a few days and will be available to buy in a few weeks when my plate is transferred.. I refuse to strip it so 90% of the mods are still on, its running so well so its a shame imo to strip it of its glory!

Some more pics of the clio, with a few mates hope you like them.

wicked little cars. Thats really nice mate.

They are quick enough though. Defeinietly faster then a stock starlet. 182BHP and they weigh between 1000-1050KG.

i test drove my mates 182 before he bought it. they are very strange as they dont feel particularly quick. they do handle well though and are quite nice cars, apart from the cheapy interior and shabby build quality.

plus i would rather work on a starlet than one of those, there is no room to work in that engine bay, its all so tight.

Got a spin in one of these before fucken rapid cars I was well impressed. Instant power when you sqeeze the throttle.

i personally prefere the older clios, the 16v and the williams. i have a soft spot for those old skool clios since my mate had a 1.4 rt as his second car back in the good old days.

To be honest, the 'cheapy interior' is much better than any starlet i've been in, including my 1998 spec interior :p I agree about the build quality.. its french after all thats what makes it fun.. every time you drive you lose a piece of the car its like gradual weight saving :haha:

Wicked little car mate, have you had it cocking its wheel yet? :p

I love the 197 clio aswell :)

Nah not yet, havnt pushed it at all, need two tyres.
Yeah the 197 is a mates, lovely car as well

yes ''ooops'' indeed.. :haha:

nah cant knock these motors, very nippy and handle shit hot. very good track cars and suprisingly reliable. a mate of mine has one and hes done some weight saving, lost the p/s, a/c , and interior etc and takes it on track quite often and it surprises alot of higher powered cars.

recaro's look sweet aswell mate

I like the old style clio Sports. I'm not keen on the 182's twin exhaurst though, prefer the 172 cup.

Very quick they are two and do handle very well.
