opinions on this kit

friend of mine has this kit that im thinking of purchasing..its a standard ported manifole with and adaptor from ct 9 fitment to td series turbos with a turbosmart ewg and scrremer pipe and the decat downpipe that is also the front section of the exhaust.

but however this is where i come into problems.if facing the front of the car am i right in saying if i went tdo4 that the exhaust housing should be on the right hand side of the car? as yousee in the pics above the downpipe only accomidates the exhaust housing on the left, what has the turbo done a 180 degre turn on the horizontal plane.i really want the kit but this is the only thing that puts me off as it would mean a custom route for FMIC and air fitler relocation.

id like some opinions on this and to see if anyone has come across this before

I'll be true to say that I don't really like what I see , also you might have problem with the radiator....

I've seen this setup working successfully a few times, you will however loose alot of top end power that that turbo could normaly flow due to the restrictive short runner manifold.

asked 200e but could prob get for 170 maybe 150?but wat good is it then if im losing top end power, also if the compressor housing is on the right it will be a custom(and longer) front mount route.

also spuddy what if i had a stainless manifold to use instead of the ported oem manifold?would that sort it, i presumme as its still short runners

wouldnt bother with it mate crappy set up better to do it right ,that looks like trouble
