Panel Filter over Cone.....

Sorry if this has been covered before, iv been on search for almost 45mins now, and no avail.

Basicly would a TRD or similar panel filter be more beneficial than say an Apexi cone filter or not? In respect of does one work better than other? More flowing? Better hp etc?

I have a plan to relocate intake side of things see, and would just like to know. Cant tell ya, its a secret.

In terms of flow difference through each filter, the difference would be negligible. :)

EDIT: just to expand a little, when it come to intake restrictions, the filter is often one of the least restrictive parts, i've seen tests on a standard airbox where the filter has created 1 inch of water difference from one side to the next (thats much less than 1psi)
