paying insurance

hey guys ,

just insured my car with sky (very good quote) and i gave them a deposit and going to pay in installments , just bin talking to my mum and she said she would lend me the money and i pay her back to save me the interest (which is about £200) so worth doing.

but have just giving them the deposit like an hour ago , so my question is if i phone them back tomorrow could they stop the direct debit and i pay them in full?

It'll all be down to their individual policies. There may well be a charge if they do let you.

yeh, they may charge, if so, cancel the policy, you by law have 14 days to cancel the policy, so if there gunna be shifty about it, tell them your just gunna cancel it, and get quotes elsewhere and pay that one off in a 1 instead, but im sure if you say your gunna cancel, they will let you pay it in 1, with maybe £15 or so admin charge

i dont mind paying like £15-£20 as im still gunna be saving quit alot of money , i will phone sky tomorrow and find out.
