For starters can someone tell me what benefit i would get for becoming a paid member.i dont really know how to use this site.Apart from that my gt turbo is giving me a dose of petrol.when im driving it and have window open i get a strong smell of petrol.the inside honey-come like material was knocked out of the cat if this has anything to do with it.if anyone has any ideas as to what this might be please let me know it would be appreciated

Is the smell coming only from the outside?
or is there a smell in the inside? if there is a smell from the inside, lift the back seat and make sure the tank is properly covered (black plate screwed tightly etc)
are you using a lot of fuel? checked for leaks?

Cheers Craig for the info you got it in 1 mate.i lifted the back seat up and the sending unit on the top of the petrol tank was not fully sealed.i have to get some sort of sealant for it and give that a shot.the smell is always on the inside and when i have the window open it rises the smell and circulates it.i must check out that website, thanks again
Cheers mate for the info.you got it in 1.it was the sending unit on the top of the petrol tank under the back seat that wasn't sealed properly.i tried replying to your post but i think i posted it on my page when i prob should have posted it here on yours.i checked out the site you suggested and it is a big help.i just dont know if i should be replying to you here or on my page.anyway thanks again
