No SORN at the moment. It's going to be MOT'd though as I need to drive to Cambridge to get the cage welded in.

Still in parts :p

Nice one riko666, how can I repay you! I'll buy you a beer in the summer, I will be taking it to some of the jap shows!

I think orange is best, I'll spray the cage the same colour!

Such a problem with race preparing it though. No aftermarket seat mounts hence no seat or harness installed yet.

Going to get the guy who done the bodywork to sheet over the sunroof, and all that is coming out (which is about 20kg, incidently a CDS2 cage will weigh about the same so no added weight)

Got some flexiglass windows to go in too.

Engine is pretty much done, just got to drop the box out for a new clutch/flywheel.

About 150/160 at 1.1 bar with the omex ecu and a standard trim turbo. Reason for keeping the standard turbo is the torque of the engine is kept at a similar figure, easy to accelerate in almost every gear, bit more enjoyable.

A hybrid at the same boost would probably see me 170/180.

I'd rather invest in weight saving than figure chasing, be around 220bhp per ton or better. Want reliability too.

They are less refined than the GT in standard form, the starlet is so smooth delivery with the CT9 - but the concept is the same - it's just a 3cylinder 4EFTE with a better turbo and stronger insides and a bit more revvy.

Amazing sound http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEBrhC0dX-8

Get weakboy to take you on a blast when he's finished his ;)

Well a guy with a similar setup to mine (Same turbo and supporting mods but excluding ECU) WITHOUT weight savings or track tyres done 14.5. I should think there is no reason why it wouldn't get into the high 13's.
