Yet another airline story.. For those who don't want to read the article..

The Tunisian plane crashed into the Mediterranean Sea near Sicily in 2005.

While the plane was crashing, instead of carrying out emergency procedures, the pilot prayed, to Allah, not that it makes any difference who he prayed to.

The plane crashed into the sea and 16 of 39 onboard died.

The judges accepted that, had the pilot carried out the correct procedures, he could have guided the plane to nearby Palermo airport, and so charged him with manslaughter and gave him 10 years.

The Co-Pilot also got 10 years, the Technical Director and Director General, of Tuninters, got 9 years each.

The end..

wow thats mad isnt it. You would like to believe that if there was an issue with the plane you were on the pilot would be doing his job and not making his peace with god.

I know. I think I might have a problem. I'm flying to Berlin on Saturday and I'm in the middle of an episode of Air Crash Investigation :)

haha man you are a animal! pure asking for a good scare you are.

The haul to Germany aint too bad think it was a couple of hours when I went... get you ready for Florida in April

see that plane that went down in Montana they said it was overloaded but now it turns out there was an advisory issued recently for that plane by the aviation authority about a faulty part.

Yeah, think its only 3 hours or so to berlin. Just over 1/3 of the duration to florida!.. Did that plane have a faulty part?.. Jaysus, i'd say it was a nasty few last moments for all onboard.. I think it was over loaded by about 5 people though, which wouldn't help matters but i would have thought that it would struggle to gain the proper altitude with the extra weight.. Just shows what i know!
