pipe things??!!

can some1 tell me the point of the 3 pipe things attached to the top of the engine block on the far left and why can they be attached to efi pipe? sorry if deres a lack of detail dere.

They are pipes going between the standard boost control solenoid and the turbo and efi pipe

ok and why are they not on alot gts or glanzas? and if i change to air filter relocation kit wat do i do with the pipes?
