Please help me get my car back on the road!!!

I'm really pi**ed off my car has been off the road 3 months after bending the crank after getting a new engine in 3 weeks ago and still no joy.It needs a temperature sensor which sits on the side of the thermostat housing. The one in my glanza is different than older 4efte's. Its a 3 pin triangular plug made by denso.

I have rang Toyota they dont want anything to do with it and telling me the part is non-applicable.I have rang countless breakers with the same result they only have the old one with 2 pins.I have been told today that my engine is one of the last few produced and the sensor could be the same as a Levins?? My heart is broke trying to sort it and I dont know what to do. If anyone has any part numbers or ideas on what to do I would be very greatful.

Get into a toyota garage with you chassis number. I'm sure they will be able to find it for you. You probablyjust unfortunatly had some lazy arse bastard part advisor on the phone.

Thats the thing Toyota are telling me there is nothing on there computers with it.Sayen that the minute I say that its a glanza the tone totally changes on the other end of the phone as in "Oh rite an import"

Thats the thing some of em hate imports and just cant be bothered with the hassle. Mine love the challenge! He he.

Obviously mine is an import but my Toyota garage can still get all the parts for it, as long as they are still made that is.

You dont live on the west coast of Ireland noboby wants anything to do with imports even Toyota thats the truth.

right i have looked at glanza on my epc, and if your 100% sure its the last of the production run then they made 2 between 05/97-07/99.

there are 2 makes:

DENSO- 89422-16010 (i am almost 100% this is the one you want)

SAAMOSTA- 89422-22030

hope i have helped you there man. they are the toyota part numbers above phone them and give them that.

it's a pleasure,

i wish toyota would be more helpful towards imports, as in a way it's a compliment that there cars that were not built for this market, are being enjoyed and loved and cared for.
