i have a ep82 owned since december had so many problems done a turbo, gear box, diff, hubs, callipers and now its kickin out white smoke iv been told gaskit and all sorts any ideas or dooes anyone wana buy a starlet i think iv had enough of it but really dont want to sell it.
please help

smoke could be lotsa different things, maybe more discriptive? When does it smoke etc, colour of smoke, always smoke or just start up etc.

well started on cold starts, white smoke, then started on stand still tick over not every day but iv just started it no smoke and i got 100yards down the road and it was poorin out drove back reved it n its still come out proper panicin
wasnt you at jap fest iv checked it its fine

only on cold starts? and if you drive it for a while until engine at operating temperature? Mine does that as well sometimes on start up and then for a few minutes but it just decipitation, only cold morning, of which we luckily do not have many here. any other funny features, burning oil or noises?
nah the smokes worst its not a little its a lot of smoke

oh oh, burn oil? Turbo sound ok? Does it still pull ok or feel sluggish? Noises? Best and safest bet would be a reliable garage, sometimes difficult troubleshooting when one cant see it for yourself.
nah just done turbo think il take it to gda (local jap specialists) tomorrow. iv just done my turbo cos oil seals went in the last one its completly diff smoke
ahhhh wasnt me then, as i was there but the GT wasnt
same wheels then lol, wots the colour called
its blue smoke just tryed again and it didnt really want to start

blue smoke, that usualy sounds like stem seals or rings. If smoke lot then would say rings and check your oil. Could also guess turbo seals. And no start means something going or gone, has it maybe overheated at some point?
nah never over heated oil was fine last time i checkd 3 days ago

rather have it checked out before it ends up expensive. Let me know what garage say's, am always intrested. Hope your luck changes with your GT, but on the bright side when its all fixed it shouldnt give your probs for quite a while. Actualy tuff lil cars.
