Hey Guys.

So ive got my glanza back, pics to come etc...

Now its running a td04 at 0.5bar boost but it is SLOOOOOOWWWWW! My standard glanza at 151.6bhp was WAY faster.

Now the dump valve is really quiet and it is lumpy as hell.

So what should i be looking for guys?

Boost/vac leak, knock sensor?

the engine was running fine when it came out of the gt, and has only since got the problems since i put it in the glanza, are any sensors different that need swapping because they would give incorrect readings?

I managed to sort out most of the lumpy idling as the CTS wasnt plugged in, but even with it plugged in the fan is on constantly, now it never used to do that before even when i removed the ac. so it seems odd it is doing it now!

luckily i have a whole gt and a spare engine so i can swap stuff over but i just wantd some advice before i started going mad!

did a diagnostic test and is coming back with code 22 coolant temp sensor, so il replace these today as the fan is permenantly on etc, but would this affect the power would the ecu pull timing back for a cts fault?

Coolant temp sensor would make it run like shit as it would be telling the ecu the engine is cold in tern would be dumpin loads of fuel in. Does it sometimes hesitate and cut out when you drive come to a stop n go to pull away again?....id say once youve changed it itl be sweet as a nut ;).

Mines running 4psi on td04 n i thought it was quite quick lol dont get any wheelspin launches like a dream only a car lengh behind starlets running over 200 on a shrt drag lol

Hi mate I've just fitted a td04 to my gt and its running slower than before think Iv found out what the problem is because my actuator was opening at 0.5bar as well it was releasing all the boost pressure so Iv just ordered a new one that opens at 1 bar so should be all good.

IIRC the thermostat housing needs changed over between the GT and Glanza?
Are you sure you have the correct plugs on the sensors?

The sensor at the top of the bottom rad hose is what controls your fan (white sensor). Make sure this is plugged in or it will run constant.

Not trying to teach you to suck eggs, but you have connected up all the wiring properly?

It turns out the cts was faulty, so I've swapped that and its a lot faster. But my ssqv is still really quiet, so I suppose I'm looking for a leak of some variety now?

Ok thats cool.
Are you only running 0.5 bar or will it not go any higher? If your only running 0.5 then the SSQV wont be that loud.

I will hook up the boost controller later, its EWG so im hoping if i raise it to 0.7 it should be back to normal, just seems like after all this hard work its a bit of an anti climax!
