poppin noise..

well lads can anyone tell me this.. when my glanza is tickin over ther is a popin noise coming from the exhaust.. i know it called miss fire what could resolve the problem??

how much poppin is it? if you have an aftermarket exhaust which im guessing probably have, then a little bit is completely normal as there less restrictive i believe, mine does it....i like it haha and i have got standard cat in place

btw if it is misfiring, its usually ignition, start from core up i would, plugs, leads, dis cap

If it was missfiring it would run like crap and you would be noticeabley down on power.

My GT and Glanza would both pop and burble on tick over (with exhausts fitted)

so you reckon its feul, what can i do to stop it..

put a stock system on - whenever you change the exhaust system, it will burble more at idle, even more so with turbo cars ie starlets (from what ive noticed)
