I dont know about everyone else on here but I love reading about mediacal breakthroughs...anyone else? MS affects the ability of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord to communicate with each other...basically stops all those liitle synapses doing their thing at the end of nerve cells (myelin sheaths get damaged). Originally thought too be a nervous system related disease, now in 2009, possible indications that it is infact vascular system related. Have a read of this:
