Possibly piston rings ( URGENT HELP NEEDED)

Right. I had a hks dv aswell as the re circulator running. and the dv was spitting oil. Alot. I took the dump valve, piping and the rx7 tmic off and checked them all, cleaned them up however to see where the oil may be coming from to try and write off the chance of turbo seals, i disconnected the breathing pipe from the crankcase that joins to the re-circ and replaced with a breather filter, the valve is still spitting a bit( possibly from oil still in the pipe work?) But the crank case breather is flodding oil all over the top of the engine, ive asked around and most common response is " piston rings" :angry2:

Can any one help? shed any light on what it may be? and alos if it is the piston rings any one know any reliable decent but cheap ( if they exist?) places to have them done? Or isit worth buying a new engine and having that dropped in? If so any knocking around that can be sure to be well looked after and low-ish milage? Im from the kent area if this helps for any recommendations!.

PLEASE HELP!

Piston Rings or Piston Ring Lands maybe cracked. Or even Valve stem seals. You wont know until you strip it down.

Do a compression test also.

spot on Chris, very unlikely it is rings, most likely the piston broken in the ring lands

Would this affect the runnning of the car as it seems to be running fine, i have only recently got it. It seems like it may be boosting a little lower but only about 1 psi on high and 1 psi lower on low?

Are these problems worth gettin done? or isit better to get a new engine? any one please open up the gates and shed some light onto some rough guided price?
