Powdercoating and intercooler

Was just wondering if it is safe/possible to powedercoat the intercooler core? to black for the stealth look? any idea?

Paint would be better as powder coating is quit thick and would stop it cooling as well plus it could clog it up a lot.

We have anodised intercoolers in the past and it seems to last for a very long time and cooling isnt effected

Do alot of places do this? or would it only be specific places?
theres always the option of buying the core seperate but knowing ebay it will be cheap s##t
