I've a volvo s40 1.9d 115bhp.
Got the turbo replaced on it a month ago (almost new, no shaft play at all), Car was running great / pulling well.
I noticed yesterday that 1st gear was extremely laggy, Took it for a spin up the motorway, felt a bit odd.
Turbo is now making a weird noise, It won't boost properly. I have checked the intercooler and turbo pipes and all is good.
There is not one bit of smoke coming out of the exhaust (engine was totally rebuilt before christmas)
I would have thought if the turbo was on its way out there would have been lots of smoke coming out of exhaust but there isn't.
Is there anything else that i could check on the car?
