Problems with high power set up

like FUR said mate turn down to 10psi and it should be ok. But get some sard 550cc injectors. evo injectors are wrong i looked into that when i was doing my set up.

When my engine was built it was run in 10psi, 2.8bar fuel pressure and driven easy till it got mapped

yes evo injectors are not good for the 4e. get the 550cc which are enough for the boost u are going to set it up, plumb in the walbro pump and map the EMB with a nice, 10.5-11ish AFR (allways using a wideband AF).

that would shift nice. BTW do u have a EGT gauge mate?

dumping a bit a fuel there tho Mental
with an efficient intercooler 10.5 AFR's are far from necessary and the extra fuel won't do much for charge cooling, only make the car slower really

yes mate indeed, but imo it can be a lot safer and with lower EGT's.

BUT, tuning an ecu is allways a 50% matter of what do u want of a car (if u are having a car only for 2 passes at a dragstrip, u be getting a far more aggressive map than a car used for everyday car and occasionally racing) and a 50% to other factors more engine-wise.

I referred to the 11-10.5 only as a safe map for the car, after all I ain't a tuner, im just a man:p:p:p

lol cool man
there is a point of diminishing returns with these motors, where more gas doesn't necessarily mean lower EGT's or cooler charge, just means slower motor......that is somewhere around the 11.5:1 afr

i say that to say that there isn't a big difference in terms of the safety margin between 11.5 and 10.5, just a difference in power output
