Ive a 1991 starlet gt turbo and last night the battery light and the (i'm assuming water over heat light) came on the dash at the same time and wont go down plus the water temp gauge keeps climbing to hot, any ideas would b champ


ive checked the oil to make sure heads not gone and it seems

Ted's on the money, likely to be the belt that runs your alternator and water pump. DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR with it broken, you will cook it and will be new engine time.
