Profec e01 as a boost gauge

hi all!
heres the scoop; i have a profec e01 collecting dust and i'm in the need of a boost gauge. is it possible to install the profec e01 just to make use of its on screen boost gauge feature without installing a Greddy EMB or EMU? the idea is to save some money on having to buy a seperate boost gauge.

any advice would be great!

Yes you can, just plug it all in and set it up. Then on main screen with boost gauge just click the knob button in once and it highlights hi/lo or off. Set it to off and it still shows the boost on screen but does not control it.

thanks a million buddy. i'm guessing the profec e01 manual will tell me how to install and set it up. will i need anything else but the main unit, the screen and the controller?

there shud be a boost solenoid aswell but if only for boost gauge u might only need to put a t piece on ur vacum hose to the main unit.

Yes the manual shud have all you need.
