Just wrote this on anpther forum thought I'm as well to follow this thread up lol
DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVENT SEEN THE FILM
I was waiting for this for nearly two years. I flew over to Liverpool to see it in an IMAX which I have to say is an unreal experience if your ever near one I highly recommend going to a movie in one we have nothing like it in Ireland they are mind blowing. I made a weekend of it which cost feck all so if your bored some weekend pop over there cheap 40 minute flight away lol.
As for the film bit of a serious let down to me was kinda annoyed leaving the cinema. Visually it was a masterpiece and fassbender was good too but there was just to much stupid shit going on in it like in the adds it was pure dark with dark music the film had this star trek type happy music did'nt suit it imo. I'm as well to make bullet points because there was that much shit in it

Wooden characters which you dont get to really know as the film just seems really rushed
They wake up after 2 years nobody knows each other or what the mission is wtf?
How did they know where to go on the planet they only got its location.
They just discover the greatest discovery's in mandkinds history of where we came from nobody seems phased by it halloway gets drunk as if it was a failure lol.
They guy who maps the place with the high tec floating balls fiefield I think his name was GETS LOST with another guy who is scared out of his mind when he sees the dead engineers then trys to pet a alien snake like a dog 5 minutes later. So non believable the character setup.
Shaw operates on herself pulls an alien out nobody looking for her then walks into the room where Weyland is nobody seems to bothered at all also why did'nt she get infected like her boyfriend.
The captain goes of and rides charlize theron (well done lol) when hes ment to be looking after the the lost scientists.
The captain wants to fly Prometheus into the the alien ship and the two guys just say your a shit pilot and fly off to their deaths at the drop of a hat no ifs or buts again so non believable lol.
Alien ship crashes they run straight instead of to the side what a normal human being would do lol.
I could go on lol
Such a load of plot holes its unreal and it was very biblical for some reason like all the religious things in it and what happened 2000 years ago that they wanted to kill us well what I can think of is we killed jesus was he something to do with the engineers who knows.
The original script/story is a great concept but Damon Lindelof got his hands on it and ruined it he is the muppet who wrote LOST which was a serious load of bollocks. So if your wondering why it was so vague and all over the place and raising questions now you know why because of that clown.
I'm hoping it was just a long trailer for the following movies of this series and I hope Damon Lindelof has nothing to do with them fingers crossed. There is another half an hour going to be on the dvd when it comes out so maybe something to see in that. Maybe my exceptions were way to high but there was so much stupid shit it overshadowed the good parts imo.

I thought it was terrible.
What annoyed me most is the captain goes off to ride Charlize Theron (who seemed surprisingly easy:yesand we didnt even get to see any boobs! Would of made up for the rest of the film.
Yup... -1 for lack of boobs! I was severely disappointed by the movie

yep total dissapointment. captain trys it on...charlize theron says my room in 10 minutes, and im sitting in cinema thinkin yes gna see some tits and tight little ass but no nothing lol.
and besides that the story sucks, no answers, just a complete mystery. few good action bits in it but besides that...
