Ahh now you know yourself everyone is entitled to an opinion,,wouldnt say they were dishing the guy completely...
In my opinion I say fair play its great bit of work and look forward to seeing it finished...:)

yeah i know im just saying that i dont know why it was said in fairness cause any petrol head could appreciate the work gone in regardless if it cost money or didnt serve a purpose, tbh even if i didnt like it im sure it would be just nice for him to say good job or something why get so negative about it haha not harping on anyone everyone is entitled to their own opinions and in mine i cant see why anyone would say anything neg about it fair play to him

@buckets im sure he isnt doing to be the first anyway, he has done a fair bit to it that you will not see in the vid that im sure hasnt been done before

Its alot of work for 4 wheel drive and 160-190hp if the car hasent lost any BHP given the age. Whose being negative? Everyone is just giving there opinion on what they think, its all part of the process on a public forum and not everyone has the same opinion which makes forums interesting.

dont know why there is people saying its pointless or a waste of time, its something different and some good work gone in so fair play to him why put someone down over it its not needed

This was obviously aimed at myself as i was the only one who used the words "waste of time". Firstly who questioned the guys work? I also added it was my opinion, you have yours and i have mine. Given the chance to be in his shoes thats not what i would have done. Cant see the point of it at all apart from saying ... its the first done ... even at that its only bragging rights.

Was this car at heatwave? I saw a red twin engined starlet at heatwave. The starlet at heatwave didn't have any number plates on it so im not sure if its the same car. I didnt get talking to the owner at heatwave but I would love to know a bit more about the conversion.

its fast and launches like a bitch... id like to see a standard gt launch like this thing.. and its capable of 140mph without struggle until it hits the limiter..

in fact im sure he dragged against a glanza v and beat it..

I think it would be very fast both off the line and when its going even with the 4EFE engines in it, I really want a good look round this car sometime lol. It might not handle the best due to the weight in the rear, but I think this would destroy a 4EFTE 4WD Starlet on the strip or up the road.

So because its capable of 140mph without struggle its worth while? :homer: a standard GT is fwd? Thats comparing a modified car against a standard car? :homer: a stock GT against a stock UK Starlet then its inevitable who the winner would be.

handling aint fantastic but sur he only uses it dragging anyway, anytime he has arrived at a meet with it hes kinda pale faced, lol.. hes going forging them at some stage and lobbing on 2 turbos and twin lsd's, its going to be nuts... the work he has done on this car is some achievement for one man, he is nuts but then again hes polish, lol.. (sorry sham)

Really interesting project. Nice to see something a little bit different (even if it has been done before). On a side-note, does anybody else find some of the posts in this thread a little bit base? It takes two seconds longer to make a readable post, please take the time!!! :p
