the 360 only plays certain xbox games, not all, and its software emulated, and usually have to download a patch to enable the ability,
as for the ps3 its the 60gb that plays ps2 games, others do not,
the 60gb was probably the best machine feature wise they did, but had its problems..
bluray dvd drive failure was common, and the ylod, but that was due to over heating,
I have fixed many ps3's and it is all usually due to heavy gaming sessions , where folks spend almost half a day playing the machine and not give it a rest in between, also folks not cleaning the vents on the ps3 where dust builds up and gets sucked inside, blocking the vents and helping to overheat the cpu and gpu, now when the machine over heats the motherboard warps and the cpu and gpu connections let go, any 1 or number of pins that detach themself from the motherboard make the machine throw up the yellow light of death..
