i still have problems with my RPM meter.

stock it is a negative(grounded) signal.

i now have a stand alone who supplies a positive signal.

i have tried to understand the circuitboard, not succeded.
so after talking to alot of different people i came up with the idea to make/build/buy a signal duplicator.

this duplicator should make the supplied posiitive signal to switch an electrical component to duplicate the positive signal and let it switch the needed negative wire.

is there some one who can help me out?

I know electronics but i don't get what your trying to achieve.

maybe i can explain it some more.

stock the RPM signal does do this
12V gauges =. RPM gauge => Ignitor => earth

now i have
12V => ECU => nothing yet.

as i'm tring to explain(i hope it is some more clear now) that stock the RPM signal is switched in the negative wire. now it is switch in the positive wire.
there is no connection on the RPM circuit board for a positive RPM signal connection, only negative.

i was wondering if there is a electonical componet or circuit that cane duplicate my current RPm signal.
i would like to let that component takeover the stock RPM switch.
