Guys

I have a problem with my fan, it does not come on when the designated temperature is reached.checked all the fuse,tried to disconnect the sensor on the ac tube,still no luck. What can be the problem?

Note that when i connect the fan directly to the battery it works, my car over heated a bit when going up a hill, but never reached red, should i be worried about headgasket failure, connected fan directly just to go home,did some hill climbing but temperature gauge stayed in the middle. So i guess engine still fine.

if the engine was relatively healthy to begin with headgasket should still be ok, but as with anything, you can never tell if it has done any damage unless you test it or you have headgasket related problems.

as for the fan, will either be a wiring problem or the relay if it doesnt come on when it should.

emgine was just rebuild since 6 month ago,with new everything.had the head skimmed.
