radiator hose would this work?

I want to make my own radiator hose up as iam unhappy with how close the standard one is to my external wastegate, ive seen a new hose from samco which looks like it could do the job but iam unsure if it is capable it says max temp 180oC would that be ok for rad hose?

yeh that stuff is perfectly fine iv used in the past for top hoses and such like. remember that the hoses on a starlet are 28mm.

i ve used the same pipe for my drain pipe from the turbo as the one with the kit was a waste of time
very good stuff you can go as much as 180< without kinking it

make sure it is flouro lined !

will it do that with the coolant?

....just seen it says for coolant and turbo applications so guess not wooo

yours is similar to my mani if its the one im thinking of
mines this close

and i have no issues at all my car runs cold if anything allways has and having gate here hasnt effected it at all, even after a good track session i can touch top of the wastegate they dont get hot at all

all we did was spin water pipe around as one end is a tad longer then the other

If it ain't touching, it'll be fine. Wastegates don't get particularly hot (compared to lots of other things in the engine bay anyway) and radiator hose is obviously rated for quite high temperatures and pressures.

If you want to do it for looks sake, go right ahead, just be aware that it's highly unlikely to be a problem.
