radio aerial `95 GT Advance

Hi folks, A really simple question- I`ve just fitted a radio head unit and the reception is OK but not excellent and it jumps about searching for stations sometimes. The existing aerial lead was used and fitted well.
My question- is the stock aerial a telescopic manual pull-up, electric (like on alot of toyotas) or as is- fixed.

manual pull up type mate. makes a big difference when its pulled up, but does look amazingly gay

Thought so, cheers. I`ve sprayed wd40 as mine is jammed up solid.

they do tend to jam when they dont get used. just be careful when you push it back in as they can easily bend. did that tio mine
