Real dyno figures or just boasting?

So spec of car is as follows :

CT9 turbo
uprated actuator
stand alone ecu
fmic
boost 14psi
downpipe
standard mani ( no3 ported)



The dyno we go to does not produce any print out ! and he use a dynometer (the one with 2 big dials (1 for speed and one for power in Kw ) so he st up the car and the final run the car produced 130Kw. When we told him how much would that be in bhp he said 195 bhp now i have seen that as eccessive (hope im wrong) when we asked again he said 130 Kw is 174 bhp @ the wheels so its 195 bhp @ the flywheel

Is all this possible as i dont like and believe all this the way this is done without having a graph printout!

well thats is very high for them mods, you dont normally see alot of ct9s using standalones tho so maybe that could be getting the extra power but it certainly is alot, not alot of hybrids make far off that

Doesn't sound too accurate to me mate, especially when its only a 12% loss through the drivetrain he's calculated, with a kind of average 15-20% loss your looking at over 200bhp which is pretty excessive for a stock ct9.

I made 157 whp (189.8bhp) with this spec:

Stock CT9A @15psi
Autofixed FMIC
Apexi Filter (Mounted behind the grill)
Road Runner Manifold
Blitz Decat
Custom straight through ss 2.5 inch cat back exhaust
HKS Actuator
NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
NGK Blue Leads
Walbro Fuel Pump
SARD RRFPR
SARD R2D2
GReddy Emanage Blue
Aircon removed

So certainly seems optimistic to me.

like i said the only major difference there is the standalone ecu, i dont know if mapping could make that much of a increase?

i dont think so, because the dyno is like a treadmill for cars basically, so no matter how heavy you are it only goes on your power

LOL!! I wouldn't expect that kind of question from you Kon, it won't make any difference. Its still strapped down the same, the only difference it could make is if it wasn't getting enough traction from being too light but it certainly won't give a higher reading.
