Rear factory lsd mount ?

I have recently purchased a factory lsd gearbox for my car and fitted it but the rear mount will not line up. i have fitted the proper lsd mount that came with the gearbox but it is out of line by about a cm and when i try to jack the gearbox up it catchs the mount and digs into the bush . Has anybody else ever had this problem or have i done somthing wrong and there is no side to side movement. Cheers Chris

Iv literally just got in from the garage 5mins ago from fitting my engine and LSD gearbox and I found the same problem, I gave it a bit of 'gentle' persuasion, it will go mate you just have to twist the whole engine and gearbox together and as you jack it up Itl sit better in the position. I didn't have poly mount on my mount tho so mine did have a little more flex, as I know yours is probably solid so youl have a slightly harder job, good luck bud

i had same problem puttin my gearbox back in m8 just needs persuasion to get it bk in i just undew the rear mount bolted it to the gearbox then jack the gearbox and had my m8 wiggle and push the engine and then it went in bingo
