Rear lightbulb problem.

Hey guys.

The top bulb on my drivers side rear light went out yesterday. I presumed its blown as it has before so I went and bought another one. Fitted it and it still isnt lighting up. Now the other element in the bulb for the break light still lights up. I've checked the wiring and fuses and all seem fine. Any ideas whats the problem?

give the connection points a clean duff it could have a bit of up of corrosion on it hence why its not working
