i recently fitted a new clutch and pressure plate its a excedy 6padle one, but when i go to depress my clutch its still drags slightly not enough to stall the car when holding the foot brake but enough for it to roll.

my question is, is there a longer release bearing that needs to be fitted with this clutch?

Have you tried bleeding the clutch fluid?

You can try adjust the clutch pedal, but it will only do a very small adjustment and really is there jus' for adjustment after clutch has bed-in.

Someone using the same clutch will hopefully chime in and see if they required any modification to the release bearing. Edit the thread title to include Exedy 6 paddle clutch ;) Good luck.

I think some have done a modification to the clutch slave cylinder rod to "lengthen" it slightly when fitting certain clutch kits...something to do with fitting a nut at the end of the rod...it's supposed to help with giving the fork a bit of extra travel for the same pedal movement if I remember correctly. I'll have to look it up to be certain.

Yeh I tried adding a nut inbewteen the arm and the rod in the clynder but it didn't work - so going to take box back out. And check that the clutch is on the right way around.
