recommend me a game

hey guys, im looking to buy a game for my laptop, its running windows 7 so none of my old games work i wanted to play command and conquer red alert but it didnt work so tried sims and that doesnt work either.

looking for something that involves building or carrying out missions, but not a shoot em up or racing games, got that on the playstation. just want something i can sit in the front room and still be sociable with the mrs haha.

let me know what you think will suit.

oh and i dont really wanna be spending to much money

your best bet man is aoe2 with the expansions. one of the best games made for the pc. any of the theme hos ect... will work as it sounds like you dont have a good graphics card

Starcraft II ... well worth having waited for 11 years... its the hottest, freshest, (not to mention sticks to the storyline from starcaft 1) .. also its not very resource hungry... id reccomend u get an original, as after finishing the cracked version i bought the original, and found out that over 75% of the game features where left out..

Defo starcraft 2 its awesome, waited so long & in my opinion makes c&c look silly :haha: I'm in silver league now finally got promoted outta bronze & platnium in 2v2 bt yea its brillent buy it and there is 2 expansions coming out next year!!!!
