For sale: RED 1998 TD04'd Glanza V

Item Condition: Very Good

Price and price conditions: £6000

Extra Info: I am thinking about selling my Glanza V because i am stupid :p

I really do love this car but i am considering selling it to either experiment a bit with rwd and 4wd as insurance is now becomin more feasable for me to do so, or start a new starlet project which will include a 5efte, and i believe if i do it to this car i will loose too much money on it as i will be going for a new setup completely, so id rather sell this one and start again so somebody can enjoy this :)

Well a bit about the car, i bought the car from akki as you all know with a K26 on it which i swapped for a ct9 and then upgraded shortly after to a TD04L. It is a 1998 spec and is in the rarest 98 spec colour red. Below is a spec list for the car:


74000km (still in km - which is a low 46000 miles!!)

The car was setup at the racing line in halifax and made 225.7bhp @ 1bar i have another graph read 232.6bhp but i have recently been told that was running just over a bar.

Bad points:
-the alloys could do with a recondition as they have started to oxidize
-No CD player, didnt have one when i bought it and havent got round to putting one in!

no need for that in his thread really, if i had 6k i'd have it, its mint, looks gorgeous and has an awesome spec definitely worth it imo

is there balls stop damaging my sale and go learn how to drive so your next car doesnt suffer the same fate. There are GTs with similar specs for sale for 5000 with higher mileage.

will a mod please clean this up.

how come everybody slated toymotas glanza she was selling for 6 grand? that cars 10x nicer than yours.. neway take a chill pill

her car was beautiful and was worth every penny imo.

However mine is newer and we all know 98 specs sell for more, and mine is setup at 1 bar on emanage which is 500 quid by itself! hers was ay 0.8 bar on a fpr. Also it has an aftermarket LSD and lots of other little bits.

All im saying is if youve got nothing repectful to say about the sale dont say it!

I really dont think he means it the way your taking it mate... Personally i think the car is well worth the 6K asking price although alot of people cant justify 6K so might have some trouble selling unless you get the right person that appreciates the work thats gone into this, the quality of it.... But not many people understand so they settle for a cheaper(less quality option)

It certainly is a very clean car ive also see this in real when Akki owned it...

thats all i ment mate like dan said, i didnt mean any disrepsect but ive seen lately many many nice cars not selling at all because there highly priced!

even gt's etc like ricks isnt selling even tho there absolutely mint.

it seems like people only wanna buy the cheap tat.

i no how much it costs to get your glanza to that spec and yes it will add up more than that kinda money i agree but unfortunately you dont always get it back.

neway like i said i didnt mean it horribly. good luck with the sale.

thanks guys, well at the min its a toss up between a 5efte gt, a super/turbo charged mx5 or an impreza :p wouldnt mind an evo but insurance is silly
