Basically its very simple,a wider tyre with a higher psi of air will inflate it too much,so that the morphology of the tyre will change...that is the shoulders will be barely in contact with the road surface....hence causing more wear on the middle aspect of the tyre....

What you need to do,is run lesser air pressure to ensure maximum contact with the road surface.....But too less air will cause premature wear on the outer aspect of the tyre and middle section will have decreased wear......

get a good front splitter mate that will aid a little or wait till i get one and i'll let you know if it works or not

Front splitter would only have an effect above 70mph, and that's only if it's well designed, would have to meassure pressure differences, if it was lower than the bottom edge of the front bumper it would stop some air from going under the car

I'm sure my Laguna splitter helps be at 70+ :p ;) Hehe
