Removing bottom ball joint!

I cannot get the bugger to come out

I have undone all the bolts but it will just not come out, i plan on taking a hammer to it soon but i was wondering if anyone has any other methods of getting it to come out?

you will need a ball joint splitter or try hitting the hub where the ball joint goes through to try and shock the tapered part of the ball joint out
