well here (Greece) we all are called like that because of the very same reason.
if someone drives a moded car, no matter what mod is that (tinted windows, exhaust)
is branded as a street racer, treated like a criminal (been treated like that several times), acts like a scape goat so this thing shows that the judgement system is so flawed and "old-fashioned".
its not easy to see the difference between a street racer or a TRUE enthusiast, so its easier to blame em all as equal criminals, road killers and trouble starters.
its NOT hard for them to see that people can have such a hobby as long as its not illegal, and when it gets illegal, treat it like you should and NOT as a maniac serial killer and make a brand for everyone that LOOKS like him.

Wasn't there an EU survey a fewmonths ago that proved that. Something like 60% of crashes on Irish roads are caused by inadequate road surface, etc. (By the way don't take that figure as gospel, it's what i think it was)

My bro just bought an Evo 8 down in Tralee yesterday, on his way home he was moving with the flow of traffic at 108kph (granted this is speeding) but it was him who got pulled over and two points but, this is the good part, when the gard handed him back his licence, he smiled and said thats the joy of owning an evo, have a safe journey home!!!!
In my opinion the cheeky bastard, I would of loved to have bitch slapped him if I was there again and again, :slap: :slap: :slap: :slap: :slap: :shoot: bro doesnt even drive all that hard he just likes them and was gettin a really good deal for his English Reg 5 series
