its chro-moly and cusco have changed all their pricing plans due to the economic climate other wise it would have been alot cheaper.

I paid £660 inc vat and delivery etc

Price of everything has gone up parts etc meaning they will make less profit so the only way to survive is to raise the prices in accordance with inflation so they can keep their heads above water if you know what I mean!

Yeah suppose its swings and rounderbouts with that sort of thing, "sell less make more on each one" or "sell more but make less on each one" Got to be to do with supply and demand aswell!!!

Wait this is going off topic.... my topic.....

Any one have a rollcage for sale lol!!!!

Roll cage should not be in a road car full stop, a roll cage in a car is more likely to kill you in a serious accident, especially if it's made from chrome - it's very rigid and doesn't deform like CDS and T45 which absorb impact. It also has less favourable weld qualities.

Hence why FIA/MSA don't allow it even in racing.

If you do have a roll cage then make sure it's padded sufficiently!

You are talking about a show cage mate. I think he is after the Cusco 6 point cage or similar. Not one of the cheap, shiny, chrome/alloy bolt onto seatbelt mounting point "cages".

I agree with GTti.

Without a helmet to protect your head, the cage can and would kill you. ;)

Show cages are for posers and wanabes.

Yea with a show cage it would, but GTti said "Rollcage". There's no way in hell a rollcage should crumple upon impact.
