Run outta gas now?

Arite just brought me a new car. Car was going fine, untill i completly runned outta gas. Filled it back up, now when i start the car it goes fine for around 1 minute. Then the revs drop right back down to around 500-200 RPM untill the car completly stalls?

Car was going perfect untill i runned it low on gas. Anyhelp?

This is quite possible. Over time, sediment and shite gathers in the bottom of a fuel tank. Running it right down to empty can draw some of this sediment into the pump which will then block the filter. Check the fuel filter first.

Failing that, there may be air trapped in the system somewhere.

Dirty fuel filter is your best guess. If you change it and its still not running correct, it is possible when you were running low on fuel, the car ran lean.

There is a possibility of internal damage, but its slight. Change the fuel filter first.
