Well got my fuel filter sorted although no luck with the boost controller yet.anyway such as things go now I have another issue.car starts and idles fine and there is fuel going though the filter but as soon as I give any revs it chokes and dies.basically a slight rev and the engine practically stalls or stalls if I rev it a little bit more :/ I checked every fuse before for the boost controller and all were fine then.however never checked them after.help mot booked tomorrow!lol

I'll make sure it's all good tomorrow I have probably knocked something out whilst doing the fuel filter.generally anything around the inlet manifold to check yeh?

yes the fault will most probably be related to that area , check vac hoses and electrical connections

No buddy apart from flickered when I nearly stalled it by revving.

No fuel leak at all checked this I thought at first that was the problem as it seems like a fuelling/air flow problem

bridge TE1 & E1 in the diagnostic port. (wire or paper clip will so).. come into the car and turn on ignition but dont start and count the flashes.... if the EML flashes continuously theres no code stored...

Right diagnostics is coming up with nothing.if I slowly increase the revs it's fine but if I blip the throttle quickly that's when it starts to die.any ideas?looked around and I can't see any plugs off or anything disconnected

Only thing I can think of is that when I tightened up the fuel filter that leaked I have flattened a fuel line as it is slightly out of place now as the bracket moved

Does it die completely and cut out or do the revs just drop down?

Could it be an air lock in the fueling system (i dont know if EPs are affected by this when changing the fuel filter)
When i normally change a fuel filter i always fill it up with fuel (especially with diesel cars as they can easily get an air lock)
