RX7 intercooler

Hey!

I fancy fitting a deep core upgrade rx7 top mount.
Is it easily done and does anyone have some images or advice on fitting methods?

Very easily done mate! All it requires is a new silicone bend (51-45mm reducer) to connect the TMIC to the turbo as shown:

I'd say they are much more efficient than standard based on a simple touch test, the RX cooler stays freezing cold its awesome!

as above mate, easily done, get a 90 degree samco then just fit it on. Its a bit fiddly but it does properly fit

It looks different to the standard rx7 intercooler so do you think it will be as easily done?

Your right, that won't be a direct fit you need the original phase 1 TMIC from the older Rex's...

That makes sense now, I thought it looked different.
So to conclude, I need a standard intercooler off a really old rx7

Trust there to be none on flebay!

We did have one but sold a few weeks back, keep an eye on our s/hand section. Otherwise forum or eBay is best bet, you want the one pictured above that is the correct fittment

Thanks, This might sound silly but has anyone tryed a Pulsar top mount as that could be very easily modded to fit.
