For Sale: Close-Ratio Gearset for EP82/91

Condition: Excellent

Info: Short-Ratio Gearset removed from Nick’s GT, 1st to 4th are closer than stock ratio with 4th gear running circa 105mph on stock rev limiter. Gearset has a stock 5th gear for motorway cruising! Fantastic for sprint events.

close ratio set. would this fit a ep85. what rpm is 60mph at mate, am interested but only if it revs lower than the box thts in it just now

Hey bud,

TBH, unsure whether it would go in an EP85 box, never had one apart to see!

Its short ratio, so revs higher for the same speed as a stock EP82 Box, with a stock 5th gear for motorway cruising.

Should fit fine into an EP85 box, GT gears and shafts fit into the 85 no problem.

Why u say 5th is stock 0.815?
It should be 1.167.
Did u change it?

Hi,

Gearset already had a stock 5th gear installed when we got it. We have just used it, then removed it from a gearbox

Shipping to Italy is fine, would be around £35.00.
