Going to be selling/breaking my gt soon, got somebody who's potentially interested in buying the whole car would £3500 be a fair price or would you break it? obviously i want to make as much as possible back on it:

116k KM
WEPR power up kit
Turbosmart 38mm Ext WG
WEPR FMIC
TT Hybrid CT9
Greddy Profec b spec 2
Monster filter relocation
2 1/2" Exhaust
Poly engine mounts
Koni Shocks + Tein Springs
Blitz boost gauge
Advan TC 15" wheels with eagle f1's
Whiteline Front and Rear Anti roll bars
Whiteline panhard rod
Greddy Type S DV

what you reckon?

I'd sell it for £3500. I paid around the same price for my GT and it has much more done to it.

£3500 seems expensive in this market. Therefore I'd sell as a whole. You'd be getting over the odds without the hassle of breaking and selling parts seperately.

£3500 seems quite a good price for your GT. Some tasty mods and decent mileage. My only reservations with breaking a car are:

1. The more broken GT's = One less GT on the road :(

2. You cant guarantee that all major components will be sold off, i.e you may be left with half a car and half the money you could have gotten for it if you had sold it as a whole.

3. You may get a lot of hassle from potential buyers of parts, shipping, stripping your car (that would kill me personally)

Would sell for £3,500 mate. Much less hassle. I would want more if it was myself, but its just been a shitty year for selling these cars.

the shipping parts and stripping doesnt realy bother me, can do the shipping at good prices to as we use UK mail at work so get good prices.

im pretty sure i could sell just the mods on it and make £3500 though wouldnt you guys agree? the fmic and power up kit + hybrid for example are only a few months old

agreed it's less hastle and if he came to me with the cash i dont think i'd say no, but i think most the parts there would go pretty easily on here?

I reakon you could sell all of those parts on the list no probs at all. The power up kit would get snapped up by someone i tell thee... good luck with whatever you decide to do mate & hope you make the money you want :)

no way mate, unless you missed a shit load of parts of that list then there isnt a chance you could get that much.

you dont reckon? i priced up the aftermarket parts alone, on what i thought i should get for them, not what they cost me and made 3500

After breaking a GT i wouldnt bother again personally, the hassle with "buyers" wantin shippin quotes only to ignore your replies, storing the parts for over a year (standard parts wouldnt shift)
in the end i gave alot of stuff away, dont get me wrong i made plenty money but i only paid £400 for the car ;) (accident damaged)
Its almost a second job dealing with queries and takin pics, parcelling things up and findin time to post.
