Sensor?

Hello peeps after my car been 3 months off the road I have the new engine in but I need this sensor is it the water temp sensor and anyone have a part number? Thanks for the pic Jay!

Thing is its for a 99 Glanza the one that was in the new engine has a different plug and I broke the old one try to get it out. Cheers for any help !

I'm not to sure now if thats it I cant remember the cars in a shed 45 mins away is there another one in the bottom end of the engine itself not on the thermo housing. I know the plug has 3 prongs in the glanza but the one in the new engine is smaller.

Are you thinking about the oil pressure switch?

It's on the front of the engine to the right of the turbo.

No that must be it alright temp sensor of some sort.I havent seen the car in 5days but its right where the thermostat is so it must be it.

thats the temp sensor. cost me 80 odd quid from toyota for one.... without it dont expect the fan to work on the rad
